Sam Lavella has worked in the beauty industry for over 25 years. He has gained recognition as a creative fashion forward stylist. Sam is the proprietor of Salon Moxi, an edgy up and coming salon located in the suburbs of Philadelphia.
In addition to his desire to create beautiful hair, he is equally passionate about education.  Spending the past 12 years working with MATRIX as a Master Artistic Educator and Platform Artist he has appeared on stage at hair shows and taught directly in salons with stylists from across the United States.      
For the past three years, Sam was a Senior Associate Academy Trainer at the MATRIX GOBAL ACADEMY in NYC where he shared his skills with hair stylists from all over the globe.
Currently Sam is part of the Artistic Design Team for Matrix.
Sam is recognized nationally for his work which has appeared in numerous trade publications and hair magazines.
In 1991 he was the recipient of The Matrix “Going the Extra Mile “award.
Sam believes that education is a life long journey and he is Proudly Professional.
