A Step Beyond
Course Level: Advanced
Course Description:
In hair cutting there are 10 elements that can be combined for the perfect results every time. Our goal is to teach you how to apply these elements successfully with each client.
Course Format:

New stylists will master core cutting techniques, seasoned pros will sharpen their skills:

  • The one-length
  • Round layers
  • Square layers
  • The bob
  • Graduated shapes
  • Asymmetrical shapes
  • Texturizing Techniques

TOOL LIST FOR A STEP BEYOND:

  • Shears (5-6 Inch and 6-7 inch recommended)
  • Texturizing Shears
  • Round Brushes (S,M,L) *Optional
  • Paddle Brush
  • Denman Brush
  • Feather Razor w/ blades
  • Sectioning Clips
  • Blow Dryer w/ Nozzle
  • Ceramic Flat Iron
  • Cutting Combs
  • Spray Bottle
Recommended Prerequisite: Core Of It All and/or two years of salon cutting experience
