Core of It All

Course Level: Foundational

Course Description:

All successful haircuts are built from core foundations. Any beautiful haircut, regardless of how advanced or modern it appears, has many of the disciplines you are about to master. The C.R.A.F.T cutting methodology provides a unique system that is unlike any you have ever known hands-on, empowering and interactive. Sharpen the focus that you bring to your art through the C.R.A.F.T. discipline and method.

The Core Of It All is the Matrix introduction to the foundations of haircutting. We believe that once you've mastered the six cuts offered you will be able to expand your skill to meet the demands of the most challenging client. Our approach is interactive and friendly while exposing you to techniques you will use daily.

Course Format:

New stylists will master core cutting techniques and seasoned pros will learn how to sharpen their skills and lets them cut hair in newly creative ways. Both will learn modern versions of the following:

The one length
Round layers
Square layers
The bob
Graduated shapes
Asymmetrical shapes
