On Wednesday, September 8th, Matrix Design Team members and Artistic Educators marked Matrix’s first foray into runway shows by going backstage at Imitation of Christ’s Bryant Park debut. On this opening day of New York’s much-hyped Fashion Week, the avant-garde creations of designer and film actress Tara Subkoff were complemented by naturally wavy, flowing, Grecian-inspired looks polished to a high-shine.
Design Team Members Marco Guglielmino, Edwin Fontanez, Derek Wierzbicki and Chantelle Martineau and Artistic Educators Robert Santana and Julio Rodriguez relied on star products such as Matrix Curl.life Contouring Milk and Contouring Cream, Sleek.look Sealing Serum and Water-free Lockout Spray, Biolage Shine Renewal and Smoothing Shine Milk and FreezeTrix and AirTrix to achieve these beautiful, very on-trend looks.
With standing room only, and a Matrix gift bag on every chair, an audience of 500+ - including stars such as Chloe Sevigny, Gretchen Mol, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Jane Adams, Finola Hughes and Nia Vardalos - witnessed a truly head-turning show. The partnership with celebrity favorite IOC further underscored Matrix’s commitment to becoming Hollywood’s professional salon brand of choice.
