November 2004 - Matrix Wins Again at Health's Healthy Beauty Awards

For the second year running, Matrix is the proud recipient of a Healthy Beauty Award from Health magazine. The most recent in an increasingly long line of awards and accolades, the honors came October 27th at the Rainbow Room, where Matrix Biolage Smoothing Shine Milk was deemed "Healthiest Styling Product." Host Elisabeth Hasselbeck, of ABC's The View, noted the product's short ingredient list which means fewer potential allergens, a quality that impressed the prestigious panel of independent dermatologists evaluating all 600 products nominated. In addition to ingredients, the dermatologists evaluated the entries based on criteria including performance and packaging. One of just 12 winners across a variety of categories, Matrix also was the only professional brand receiving an award.
