I love this shampoo and the conditioner that goes with it. I have very dry hair and it does an excellent job of cleaning it without leaving a dulling residue of moisturizers or stripping it of the natural oils.

I found my hair felt thinner and greasy soon after washing. Used a clarifying shampoo and switched to my old shampoo and noticed a change for the better after just one wash. Horrible shampoo... I used to use the color care and it was much better than this stuff. Also, I read the ingredients and it contains salicylid acid, seems strange to be in a shampoo

I LOVE this line of shampoo and conditioner! Both of my younger daughters swim and the chlorine kills the moisture in their hair making it dry and knotty. This line of shampoo and conditioner immediately made a difference and i use nothing less on them. Yes it is pricey but it is well worth it. I love it so much I use it now being in the military and the hair spray i use dries out my hair and it rejuvenates it!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE this product sure wish I could afford it though :( it definitely would be the ONLY product I would ever use if I could! My hair gets dull quick with other products, but this!, this leaves it bouncy, light, and very manageable! I fully appreciate the samples that I got sent, I'm hooked!

Why, oh why, did you change the formula? I've been using the Conditioning Balm since it hit the market. (I'm guessing - almost 20 years?...maybe more). I've heard more complaints - professional and friends - all really dislike the new formula (with aloe). Can we please have the old formula back? Is any other product comparable? Before the change - I would have given "the best conditioner in the world" 5+stars

The new Detangling Solution is the worst. I, too, was a dedicated user of the ORIGINAL blue. Even tho there were times that it was hard to justify the expense. Why can't product suppliers leave well enough alone? I will NOT use the new stuff. No matter how much they claim it's greatness, don't buy it!! Big waste of money.

Thank goodness I am not the only one disliking the new formula...doesn't even deserve a star!! The original blue was a true winner. I have been a dedicated user since Matrix first introduced it! I think they need to bring back the old version immediately. Why fix something that isn't broken!!! I am probably switching permanently, at least until the original formula comes back. Such a shame Matrix!!! Bad move on your part!

Terrible!!! Weighed my hair down and turned the color in it a red orange. Used it twice and then switched back to Nioxin and still trying to get it out of my hair. My hair also looks damaged now too. It's too bad because I loved the smell.

Bring back the BLUE Detangling Solution. It left my hair feeling & looking so nice. The white solution leaves my hair heavy and blah. Bring back the blue. Why change a good thing. I am on the lookout for a product that rivals the blue solution. Really annoyed.

Please bring back the blue version. It worked so well. The white formula doesn't work to detangle--it is just a conditioner like so many others. I'm sure your sales must have dropped since the change. Please change back.

I have used this product my entire life so I was able to tell that the formula had changed. It is thin and does not make my hair soft like it used to. I can get out of the shower and my hair is so tangled, which has never happened before. I am going to be looking for another conditioner.

I was using this product for a few years and the last time I bought it the formula appeared to have changed. It is no longer thick! It was kind of thin like regular conditioner. Very disappointing! I love this product! It's very dry where I live and this really keeps my hair moisturized as well as silky and soft to the touch. Also, I have very thick and brittle hair and it's really helping to keep my hair healthy and minimize my split ends!

This USED TO BE the best leave-in conditioner in the world. They changed the formula in the last few months. Now it is HORRIBLE! It is very drying. Why can't they leave a good product alone? Bring back the original formula.
