Hair is soft & smells great!

I have been using this for a few weeks now after u wash my hair. First of all, it smells amazing. It makes my hair super soft & smooth. I get less flyaways too when I use this oil. My hair even looks healthier, less dull. I highly recommend this product.

I truly appreciated the shine and fragrance that this product brought to my hair; it smelled delightful and gave my locks a beautiful shine. However, I found that it unfortunately left my hair appearing greasy and weighed it down significantly. As someone with very fine, thin hair that naturally curls, I noticed that this heaviness dulled my curls and made them less defined. While I loved the initial look, the end result was not what I hoped for, as it compromised the natural bounce and volume I usually enjoy.

Really lovely hair serum.

Hydrates and adds shine without weighing my fine, thin hair down! I only use a few drops. I’ll warm the serum in my palms and spread it from my ears down on damp hair after I shower. If I air dry and scrunch it, it helps bring out my natural wave and it stops the frizz, even when it’s hot and humid. If I do a blow out, curl or straighten, this serum doubles as a heat protectant and just makes my hair look so much healthier. I love that it leaves my hair soft and shiny, not oily.
The pictures are just me just letting my hair air dry. You can see in the first pic the humidity is wreaking havoc.

Lightweight, heatproof hair oil

I liked this hair oil. It is multi-use. I can use more amount before washing my hair and leave it for several hours, or I can use it very limited amount after wash my hair on damp or dry hair. It gives more shine on my hair, and smoother, less fizzy hair for me. At the same time, it’s lightweight and it doesn’t make my hair greasy. I highly recommend it!

My hair as every other oil I seemed to have used has mostly caused my hair to turn out greasy but not this one! You can apply to hair wet or dry, I personally like to apply to my hair damp. It says to apply around 7 drops to hair, I tend to use around 5-7 drops. And then I brush hair and scrunch so it covers my hair root to tip. I love that this serum also provides my hair with heat protection up to 450 degrees.
What results have I seen my hair seems super shiny, soft, less frizzy and overall more locked in hydration. If you have dry hair then I would say this would be the perfect fit for you.

This is a really nice hair oil. It smells good, doesn’t leave your hair looking greasy, and is a great value because the bottle is large, but you don’t need very much of it. It left my hair shiny and didn’t weigh my hair or curls down. I appreciate the dropper with the bottle because it makes the dosage easier to dispense.

Not for me. It made my hair greasy. I have 1a/b hair and have to wash every day or it gets so limp and greasy. This product did nothing for me. It might work for someone with thicker hair.

The oil is amazing on the hair. Especially when you use it shortly after washing it. It's super concentrated, so a little goes a long way. The formula doesn't have a strong or weird smell to it. The only issue I have is with the dropper itself. It squeezes and holds the oil, until you need to get it out of the bottle. Then the oil drips straight out of it. You have to keep the dropper upside down, or sideways, when removing it from the bottle to use. Left my hair feeling soft and shiny after applying.

I was so excited when I saw I was getting this product. I have heard of matrix for a while now and it definitely exceeded my expectations. The consistency is thick and it absorbs into my hair very quickly. Because my hair is bleached I need something to revive my hair a little bit and this is great! It's a great value and I use it right after I shower and a little bit at every night, not too much so that my hair does not get too oily and I usually use about a half pump per use.

Matrix is one of my favorite hair brands. I love the curling cream and food for soft mask with the bonding serum, but the Food for Soft Oil is the perfect finishing touches for a shiny manageable hair. The oil is very light that even with my medium to thin hair it doesn’t feel heavy at all.

Doesn’t weigh down my thin fine hair

I am a big fan of this matrix line. I have been using the shampoo for at least six months now. This hair serum is no different! This multi use hair serum does a great job of smoothing my hair from fly away and smoothing my hair overall. It is lightweight and doesn’t weigh down my thin fine hair. You could use this everyday and still have a ton of product. A little goes a long way. It smells lovely too!

Fantastic on unruly frizzy hair

I love this hair oil but Matrix. I have long thick naturally curly hair, which I blow dry straight.
Anyone who has naturally curly hair knows how unruly and frizzy it can be. When I apply this oil to my hair as I dry it the frizz is tamed and my hair is softened.
I've used quite a few products on my hair some were good others not so much, however, this oil is fantastic and I will be purchasing it and adding it to my hair routine.

Applied easy. It does add some softness to my hair but I don’t think it does as much as some other oils I’ve used. It doesn’t have fragrance which is a plus but I don’t think I’d buy it.

This little bottle packs a punch. My hair is always frizzy and dry. It’s great for scalp and hair nourishment. The bottle is kind of little, but cute. I don’t know what to say about the smell, but to tell you to spray it and smell for yourself. It does wash out easily. Definitely does help mine with dryness.

Matrix is one of the oldest brands I know. Formed in the 80’s this is some brand chains go to brand. This line is formulated with avacado oil. Perfect for hydration. It is also gives a long lasting touch ability to hair. A few drops of this light weight oil is all you need. It quickly was absorbed in my hair. It does not have a heavy scent.

This hair oil serum feels nice. It even feels hydrating and smooth on the scalp. My husband has dry scalp and when i applied it was very smooth application. It smells nice too! I had some extra on my hands and it left my hands feeling very soft! You can apply on dried hair or damp hair after shampoo and it protects from heat! It’s made with avocado oil.
