XXL Big 'N Soft Extra Hydrating & Volumizing Mousse

I have been using this formula and I love it, it feels light, nothing heavy and the smell is pleasant and long-lasting, does not weigh anything and leaves the hair voluminous and beautiful, I love it, I definitely recommend it

I’ve tried the Matrix Food for Soft Mousse on 3 separate occasions now, & I’m honestly impressed. I have naturally silly straight hair that falls flat no matter what I use but this gave me noticeable volume with out making my hair feel crunchy, stiff, or sticky. The scent is nice & light with out being overpowering. My hair still looked & felt good for 2-3 days before needing another wash.

The only reason I gave this product 4 stars is the scent but that's just me. If you like strong fragrant hair, you will like this product. The way I use it is by applying it on my towel dried hair and making a bun using a scrunchie. I leave my hair on a bun for a few hours or until it's almost dry, then voila. I got bouncy big curls, not frizzy hair.

This mousse has worked well on both wet and dry hair. I only use one or two pumps each time and get the perfect amount. It has worked perfect for taming frizz and doesnt leave my hair greasy, stiff, or sticky.

It's honestly as easy as putting regular mousse, but the consistency is more of a foam, than a mousse. It works very well to help your curls hydrated, and curly. Works for most of the day by itself, works best if paired with something else though. I'd recommend it if you're just trying to have soft curls, with no extra product in your hair. But I'm not a fan of the smell of it.

This mousse made my hair soft, and manageable. I was able to wear my hair naturally without a crazy amount of frizz, which I loved. It will help me with using heat tools less often.

love the volume the mousse has given me! it gives me a nice blowout look and adds volume to my wavy hair! It absorbs really well and easy to style my hair.

I dont use hair spray or hair moose but since i have great experience with Matrix hair products i want to give this mousse a try. When you pump the solution, it produces a white foam with a light fresh scent. I have a lot of new grow baby hair so this mousse keeps these hair in place and look very nice and neat. I prefer mousse over hair spray because it doesnt spray all over my face like the hair spray does. Overall i like this Matrix hair mousse.

Absolutely love this mousse! First the smell is very pleasant and actually lasts. Using it was super easy - I applied it to my curls after washing/conditioning. I let my hair air dry and this mousse helped give my curls the boost they needed. The mousse isn’t sticky and dries without leaving a scrunch feeling. Definitely keeping this in repeat.

I was very pleased with this product. I have long hair and a lot of volume products leave my hair feeling coarse and tangled. This product left my hair smooth and full of volume. I will be using this moving forward!

At first this product was not for me. I have fine hair and it seemed to weigh it down. Once I figured out how to use it, mainly on my roots, it was a game changer. It does leave my hair feeling hydrated and soft which I love.

this is my husbands favorite hair product. he is very picky when it comes to hair products but he loves this one bc it made getting ready way quicker

Love this mousse so much! It leaves my hair very soft, doesn’t weigh my curls down, and absorbed so quickly that it doesn’t leave a sticky feeling.. The scent is really nice, light and fresh. 2 pumps is all I need and so this bottle will last me a while. I have not experienced any irritation from this product, touching my scalp or skin.

I’ve really been liking this mousse. A lot of volumizing products leave my hair stiff or crunchy, but this one leaves it soft and touchable while still adding noticeable volume and bounce. It doesn’t weigh my hair down, and a little goes a long way. Great for fuller-looking hair without feeling overdone.

very hydrating mouse. We always use curling mousses in this household, so this is a first time having one not specifically for curls, but this works perfect for all the curls in our household! must buy!

I did really love this mousse, but when putting it at the root it did make it a little harder to style for some reason! I will say it’s extremely helpful for blowouts as it does keep the frizz at bay and hair is beautifully straight and has great volume when finished. It also smells absolutely delicious!!!

After receiving this product it has become a staple in my hair routine. I have a very fine and dull hair texture and this mousse keeps my hair shiny and adds a slight boost of volume. I would purchase again.

I really liked this Mousse. I think it's been forever since I used foam product. I tried using it for both soft curls and also on dry hair before I curled it with a wand and both held up great. Smells nice. Not flakey whatsoever

This could have been user error, but I applied this in the same way I use other curl mousse and had so much flaking in my hair the next day. The actual curls were about the same as when I use other products but I’d rather use a different one to avoid this

This product is great! It smells good and is easy to use. I utilize it in two different ways. First after I wash my hair and then blow dry it and second when I want to put my hair in a ponytail I use it to make my hair moist so it lies nice and neat with a great shine. Overall this product is awesome for me as it has multiple uses depending on what you’re doing. I will definitely buy this for myself.

This product has great hold. It’s not sticky and my hair still remains smooth and flexible. My hair has a bouncy texture when using it. I will get this in future.

If you’re a fan of nostalgia moose, you might want to hear how this performed on my curls. I put this to the test on both wet and dry hair to see if it lived up to the hype. While the results were a bit underwhelming for me personally, there were some definite hits and misses: The pros I actually love the consistency of the foam. It’s airy and light and it did exactly what I promised for my curls. It added noticeable volume without the dreaded crunch factor. The cons, the stickiness is real. It has that classic old-school moose feel that leaves hands and hair feeling a bit tacky. Scent profile: If you remember the smell of the hair products from the 90s, you’ll recognize this immediately while matrix officially describes the scent as a mix of sweet vanilla, buttery, toffee, and warm Amber to me. It was a total throwback to those vintage styling foams. Even with the nostalgic feel, the formula itself is modernized with some high-performance ingredients: -“fat” hyaluronic acid design, a lump, the inner hair fibers for that volume -Avocado oil added infused hydration and aim for that teddy bear softness -Heat protection a great bonus it offers protection up to 450°F, which is perfect if you’re diffusing the curls Final verdict: overall it’s a nostalgia Moose through and through. If you can get past the stickiness that specific vintage scent, the volume it provides for curls is solid and crunch free. However, if you’re looking for more modern clean filling application, this one might leave you feeling a little underwhelmed.

While this did give me hair some volume, I wasn't thrilled with the texture of my hair or the scent. I probably will not continue to use this product.

I used this product on one of my wigs and let me just say after applying it the hair no longer looked frizzy or dry. It went on smoothly and made the hair soft shiny and brought out the curl pattern and waves beautifully. It smells really good too and I’ll definitely be using this product from now on!

The packing bottle is so cute and my favorite color. The durability will last you till your next wash hair day . No more frizz just shine and volume for your hair wither for going out or just staying in at home . The texture is like a foamy white soft - definitely will tell my friends about it !!

Overall a good product, no to sticky. Gives a great hold and easy to style hair. Washes out without a problem. Leaves no heavy buildup. Only negative not a huge fan of the smell.

This hair mousse leaves my hair super hydrated, soft and shiny. The only downside is that it doesn’t hold my curls well. It gives me a lot of volume and I really love the scents!

Love this mousse. Smells so good, not too sticky, great for wet or damp hair! The pump is easy to press as well. It helps my light waves stay all day.

The volumizing mouse helped my hair to have extra volume when it usually is pretty flat. It held throughout the day and I didn't need to use much. It didn't make my hair feel heavy when it was in and I didn't notice residue after.
