Original ingredients & liter bottle

I agree with chaotic & wilzmom the original instacure was so much better it did not make your hair feel gummy. I do not use conditioner it weighs my hair down and I have to wash my hair everyday. Now I have to wash my hair every other day. So not cool when I have a perm or color my hair. Please got back to the original and bring back the refill liter bottle. I have used matrix products for over 30 years my mother my and my aunt were hairdressers. I have been in hair shows for matrix and have always used matrix for my hair care but for the past four years I have been disappointed in the new line. Quit changing something that is good.

New Formulation is Terrible- Sticky and no Shine

The new formulation is too thick and sticky. I threw mine away and went back to an over the counter child’s detangler that worked much better. Please bring the original formulation back!

Don't like this new formula

I've used InstaCure LeaveIn treatment for over 25 years (under Biolage name originally). This new porosity spray labeled as Instacure is heavy & does not condition the hair at all! The original Instacure leavein treatment was very light, a few sprays & the comb went straight thru and left hair soft. Where can I find the original formula?

As a chemist, I first read the active principles of all products I buy..By just reading the ingredients I can infer Ph is alcaline (It’s iso easy to figure out) just read prefixes of ingredients , basically you don’t want -OL ( alcohol) ,-ate (salts) , Oil ingredients are good since they move the scale to be more acidic.

Takes a while to see results

I did a bad job with keeping up and using this product all the time.. but it smells good and works well! I just wouldn’t buy it again. My sister has curly had and she loves this stuff though!!!

Matrix! Stop trying to put lipstick on a pig! All the pretty bottles on the planet don't change the facts...... The new Instacure is a no-go! Goopy, gummy, thick. Was loyal to the original for over a decade and it was fantastic. Bought it by the liter, over and over. Won't be buying again EVER with this formulation. Please honor your loyal customers and do the right thing, bring back the original.

Change it back

I have been using Instacure leave in conditioner for over 20 years. I loved it. They have now changed the formula and it is thick and gooey now. Evwn after watering it down it's just not the same. Please change it back!!!

Not worth it

I received 1oz during a promotion at a store. It did nothing for me but gunk up my hair and then make it more dry. So I looked up each ingredient. OMG.. its just Panthenol and Glycerin mixed with some other not so special stuff. There is an antibacterial element, an emollient, an antistatic, a humectant, and 9 perfumes and 3 preservatives. Panthenol & Glycerin are great for hair, but there is nothing else in the product that's special, and in my opinion the over abundance of perfumes were harmful.

I really like this product. I do worry about my hair being damaged and this product helped! It definitely helped my hair regain some of its strength. It even stays in after a few days having not washed my hair. I like the smell of it. No observable results, but enjoy using

I have really looked forward to the days that I use Matrix Instacure Anti-breakage products in my shampoo and conditioner rotation. I can’t say that I’ve seen a big difference in my hair’s breakage since using the spray. I don’t love the smell. It reminds me of the chemicals you may smell in a salon. I wouldn’t say it is overly strong, but it is definitely there while using the product and once your hair has dried.

Didn’t do much for split ends

I’m honestly just not sure if this actually did anything for me. I have long, fine, blonde hair and after using this my ends still felt dry and split ends were visible. My ends were quite rough and my hair tangled easily, which I believe contributes to more breakage so overall I wasn’t impressed. Same salon scent as the rest of this hair are line which I also don’t personally like.

I always use a leave-in spray before I brush my hair after the shower, so I was really happy when I received this product for testing! Matrix InstaCure B5 + Liquid Protein Anti-breakage porosity spray did not disappoint! It makes hair brushing a breeze. I also like the design of the bottle, the spray trigger works great.
Because of dry climate, my hair tends to get dry and brittle, especially during colder months, so this helped me a lot to get my hair nourished and hydrated.
I love that the product is infused with liquid proteins! It really helps to control frizz, fill hair porosity and to boost elasticity!

Unfortunately when I got it the spray bottle didn’t function at all. Luckily I had a separate screw top spray hair conditioner bottle I was about to toss in order to replace it.
Overall this helped make it easier to comb my hair after washing and conditioning it, and it smelled nice. Unfortunately I didn’t see a huge difference when compared to other products I already owned. I may potentially repurchase this, but I don’t see myself becoming dedicated to the line.

The serum also comes in a squeeze bottle becomes also with a sharper tip for more concise targeting of areas. The top heart is also twist on and off which is good for easier storage and making sure that the product doesn’t leak. The serum comes with a combination of liquid proteins and avocado oil which are amazing for moisturizing and refreshing the scalp and hair. A few drops really goes a long way with his product and with the 200 ML size you really get a lot of product and use from this one bottle.

I’ve used this spray every time I wash my hair since I’ve received this box and I’ve noticed an overall reduction in frizziness. It does not make my hair feel greasy or tangled after I brush it through. My hair also feels a lot stronger after using this product. The Porosity Anti-Breakage spray has a nice fragrance like the shampoo and conditioner in the set.

So… I’ve been using this for the past month or so and I think it’s just okay. I didn’t really enjoy the smell and I’m not sure if it’s doing anything for my hair. I’ve used better leave-in products. The shampoo/conditioner duo is my favorite out of this whole line though!

This spray is really nice to rehydrate the hair midday especially for my curly haired queens. I like that the smell isn’t too strong but still noticeable. The texture is milky and I notice I get a little less breakage when I use this before detangling.

I was most excited for this product in the Matrix Instacure voxbox… and it did not disappoint. I swapped this in for the DpHue ACV spray I had been using post shower and I like this much better - pleasant scent, barely noticeable weight, and I feel like I can tell my hair is stronger and shinier? Might be too soon but this size will go a long way so I’m excited to see results by the end of the bottle
