How To Use
Mixing Ratio: 1:1 Tonal Control + 10 Volume (3%) Matrix Cream Developer.
Application: Clean dry or damp hair.
Processing Time: 20 minutes at room temperature.
Rinsing + Removal: Rinse hair well after the processing time.
Post Color Care: Keep Me Vivid Haircare or a custom toning regimen (So Silver, Brass Off, and Dark Envy) based on your client's needs.
Overly Porous Hair: On overly porous hair, lightly mist Instacure on the mids + ends of the hair before blending through Tonal Control.
Application: Clean dry or damp hair.

Tbh I’m not sure if I was allergic to it but I got light headed and had to rinse it off after 5 min. Of course it didn’t do much within 5 min.

This stuffs a must have

This is a pre bonder toner, meaning it helps keep your hair protected from the inside out of each strand while going through the process of bleaching and toning your hair. Overall this kept my hair feeling healthy and it did not make my hair feel gummy which bleaching/toning often do. I will definitely buy this again when I redo my hair and highly recommend to anyone else wanting a gel toner that protects your hair while you tone it up or down.

I love this product! I really appreciate the drip free formula, and how it oxidizes to let you know when to rinse. It is easy to use, I can use it whether my hair is dry or damp, and it only takes 20 minutes! The formula is vegan and has no ammonia, which I really appreciate. The color is pretty long lasting, really enhances my color & tones down brassiness, and leaves my hair super shiny. I love that their is a formula for about any color.

Oh my goodness I spent way too long looking older than I should. Where has this product been hiding? For the first time in thirty years (since I was a teenager) I finally have the color I want again and it doesn't make me look older. Hair looks amazing and feels great to the touch. Can't wait to keep using!!!

Matrix tonal control is a phenomenal toner , as Matrix has provided a toner for every hair color . This is a product that every Salon and/or Boutique should have to offer . It doesn't overtone your hair , it's very easy to apply , and the results are incredible. Just for applying it but I’m not sure if she mi edit with some previous color I got from there before because the color wasn’t the one I was expecting but yes it works and it doesn’t have any bad smell like others.

I tried a small patch of my hair to lighten since its been dyed red for years! Two different tones. It lightened up my hair a bit to where the dye made that section really red! It was easy to mix with the developer. Didn't cause any reactions to my hair nor skin. Definitely a good product to use when you have dark hair and want something bold!

I really enjoyed this stuff!! I recently dyed my hair platinum and my roots were gold. With this it turned it a light silver that complimented my shade. It doesn't smell at all but smells fresh. I love it and will buy again

This product is absolutely amazing! This is definitely a perfect toner that you do not have to worry about over-toning . It leaves your hair a perfect tone whether it's used around the base of hairline or slide down to mid or lower section of hair. I love that it comes in so many shades so anyone no matter the hair color can enjoy this product. Definitely going on my shelves !!

I recently tried this toner and LOVE that it gradually and consistently deepens as it oxidizes throughout the 20-minute processing time so that I know exactly when to rinse it out. It takes the guesswork out of trying to remember when to remove the toner. I also love that the box as well as the product is color coded; this will make applications so much easier, especially when applying more than one product at a time. Lastly, this toner provides long-lasting results and leaves the hair feeling deeply hydrated and healthy.
