Smoothing Shampoo

I really love this line of hair products so much and the shampoo really delivers!! I have wavy hair that can sometimes feel tangled and dry, even in the shower. Unlike many other shampoos, this one actually seemed to hydrated my entire head of hair like a conditioner! Hair was smooth and shiny after. Im now a convert to Matrix but will need to buy a bigger bottle next time as this size wont last long enough.

Smells great and left my son’s hair (video) feeling smooth and moisturized. When he woke up in the morning his hair looked good, wasn’t all crazy like usual. Rinses well like the average shampoo does. Doesn’t dry out the scalp and did I mention it smells amazing?! Use it with the conditioner +/- the hair mask for a better result.

I absolutely love this line from Matrix! My hair has never felt so soft and non tangled before when waking up in the morning. The scent on top of it is really good and not too strong. It does a great job at cleaning but the only thing I didn’t like was how flimsy the bottle was. I dropped it once and the top flew off so now I can’t close it. Besides that, I love the product inside!

The Mega Sleek Smoothing Shampoo lathers nicely and smells great. My hair feels so clean after using it, and after using the conditioner and mask that are a part of this system, it feels softer and silkier. We haven’t had many humid days, so I’m not sure about that, but my hair looks smoother after using it.

This shampoo leaves my hair clean , shiny and silky. It feels light , smooth and smells so very good! Lightweight and effective shampoo, I really enjoy using it.

This product dispensed the product nicely and easy to rinse. I didn’t notice residue and wasn’t too thick. Left my hair smooth and manageable. Helped hydrate the ends

So lucky to have this shampoo to try. light and comfort smell. i apply an enough amount from root the the end of my hair. worth value with consistency.

So glad I found this shampoo. With the conditioner and mask as well, it’s even more effective, but even on its own, I love it. It can be hard to find moisturizing/smoothing shampoo that doesn’t weigh my hair down, and I don’t have that problem with this. Smells great, lathers nicely, and rinses easily.

I love this Matrix smoothing shampoo. It has one of the most pleasant scent. The texture is creamy and make hair, my scalp feels so clean and fresh. Combing is so easy and quick since my hair becomes so soft and smooth after using this shampoo. I highly recommend this to everyone.

OK, the suds alone screams luxury. As a hairstylist, I’m huge on the cleansing factors of a shampoo. This checks every box for me. You can feel the moisture and the frizz reduction/sleek start to your styling at your first shampoo. If you check out my photo, you can see how shiny my hair is after air drying with zero product put into it. Even if you don’t have curly hair, you know this is bananas.

After using it past few weeks, I love this shampoo. It cleans well without stripping too much moisture. My hair feels soft, slightly smoother after wash. Good basic shampoo but I highly recommend use with combo conditioner/ mask for best result.

It have good design, and good quality, i feel my hair so soft after use it in the first time use, after dryer my hair shine and not frizz, i really liove it, but the smeel little sweet

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. This product is meant to be the first step before the mask and conditioner. The product comes out thick, but lathers well into hair. Once rinsed out my hair feels super soft and hydrated! Once dry, my hair appears less frizzy. I can’t wait to continue weekly use of this product and see if it helps long term with hair breakage! I would definitely recommend!!!

This shampoo is also tied for second out of the three products I got in my package from Matrix. It helps my hair feel frizz free and soft after using it with the conditioner and/or smoothie mask :) Often, shampoos can leave my hair feeling dry even even if they don’t claim to be clarifying or for oily hair, (etc). I’ve especially been dealing with dry hair after lots of recent trips to the beach and swims in the ocean. This shampoo makes me feel better about keeping my hair healthy after doing these fun things, I don’t want to have to worry about drying my hair out when I’m having fun at the beach. Love the jojoba in it, it makes my hair feel rejuvenated and full of nutrients. Love the smell, love how well it cleans my hair without drying it, and just love the results. No problems with residue. Matrix has a new customer in me!

I received this shampoo from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. First, I love the packaging! The colors are beautiful and the container itself is super cute and durable. The shampoo claims to be a smoothing shampoo for frizzy hair. I love the ingredients of oleic acid (which restores essential moisture) and jojoba oil (which locks humidity out). It has a fresh and slightly fruity scent with notes of shea butter and light citrus, but nothing overpowering. It lathers nicely and makes your hair feel clean and looks shiny! I would recommend if you have frizzy hair! ✨

The Matrix Mega Sleek Smoothing shampoo has a good consistency and lathers very well. It left my hair feeling moisturized and soft. The product is easy to dispense and rinses out cleanly. My hair was less frizzy after use.

I love all Matrix products so I was super excited to try out the Mega Sleek Smoothing Shampoo! This shampoo for sure has become a new favorite for so many reasons! I love how good this shampoo lathers, rinses out, smells and it leaves my hair looking/feeling amazing! Just after shampooing I can notice a difference in my hair already.. less tangled, more smooth and soft plus leaves my hair smelling good all day long! Love this shampoo paired with the conditioner and mask!

The first thing I noticed was the lather. It foams quickly without needing a ton of product. It definitely is a good cleanse before using conditioner. My hair feels noticeably softer and when I rinse it out, it doesn’t leave my hair tangled. The scent is clean and not overwhelming. Where it stands out the most is the shine. My hair looks so polished after I dry it. It does a great job of taming my frizz and I don’t have to work as hard with my heat tools to get my hair to do what I want it to do.

My daughters and I used the matrix mega shampoo, conditioner and mask. The smell and texture are great. After using it for a while our hair started to be one dry and damaged feeling. Unfortunately this product isn't for us.

The shampoo cleans perfectly at the same time it is quite soft and easily washed off after it the hair remains fresh and shiny a long time The shampoo has excellent foam and low consumption

So there is a lot to like about this shampoo for like 3/4 of my hair. That would be the top layer and first texture that I have. It does a fantastic job of dealing with flyaways and new growth. The challenge I'm having is the other 1/4 of my hair that is a different (more coarse and wavy bit of hair that likes to hang on to oil). That part is a challenge. Since I prefer to wash my hair every other day, this batch of hair that wants to cling to the oil in this shampoo for dear life, is driving me mad. Great product, great scent, easy to use bottle and perfect for 3/4 of my hair... It's that other 1/4 that makes me sad to sad it's not the right product for me. The product rinses great - but if your hair loves oil? May not be the right option for you either.

Same as the conditioner, there want nothing wow about this shampoo other that it cleanse well. Given that it was made for anti frizz I didn’t find the use in it for type 4B hair.

Matrix Mega Sleek Smoothing Shampoo really went far above my expectations for shampoo. I have unruly, frizzy hair that easily tangles, so it's been hard to find anything that works. My first impression when I opened the cap was that it had the most captivating, delicious scent, and I was so excited for my hair to smell that way. It has a fresh and slightly fruity scent with notes of shea butter and light citrus, like a sweet, tropical aroma, but it isn't overpowering; it's just right. This shampoo has really great slip to it, which helps detangle my wavy hair, as well as keep it hydrated and manageable while washing. It lathers up like a dream and makes my hair look so clean and fresh. It has Jojoba Oil, which locks humidity out, and Oleic Acid, which restores essential moisture...and my hair desperately needs both of those things to keep my hair from being unruly and dry. My hair feels manageable, looks sleek, smells good, and is less frizzy. Highly recommend.

It’s the ideal first step for frizz free hair especially if you have fine hair that easily loses its volume. It cleanses really well to remove residue and buildup, yet it’s gentle enough for the strands to feel nourished. I love using the conditioner after for extra hydration and smooth finish for styling.

This is a great shampoo, it lathers well cleans my hair nicely. It last a long time too.Doesn't dry out,smells great, comes in a good quality and practical packaging, but it's not suitable for travel.

The Sleek Smoothing Shampoo has been amazing for taming my hair. It gently cleanses without drying it out, and from the first wash, I noticed my hair felt smoother and more controlled. The shampoo has a great scent! I love it. It gives my hair smoothness and volume after use. It’s very easy to apply and rinse off. I dont feel my hair oily or dry after using it. Nice try!
