Super Sealing Leave-in Balm

I've been using the Instacure Leave-in Balm (with the mask) for a couple weeks now, and have noticed such a huge improvement in my overall hair health! The Mask does a great job at conditioning etc, and the Balm just kind of finishes it off for you, helps get rid of any remaining fly aways or smooth your ends. I've used similar types of products and just had poor luck, they weighed my hair down and were sooo outrageously expensive. This is a very reasonably priced set of products that are great alone but amazing together. I'm so pleased with how much healthier my hair is looking! I would definitely buy again.

This leave-in balm has worked wonders on my damaged hair. It seals split ends, reduces frizz, and leaves my hair soft and shiny without feeling greasy. After just a few uses, I've noticed less breakage and healthier-looking hair. Lightweight and perfect for daily use—highly recommend!

I use the balm once a week to treat my heat damage hair. It's very light airy texture and leave my hair super smooth and silky. The scent is light and floral.

This is one of the best leave in balm I have tried. Love the cooling and refreshing scent and how it made my hair feels smooth and soft.

I put the balm on my towel dried hair and proceeded to blow dry. It worked ok in smoothing my hair but I still had to use my straight iron to smooth out the ends.

I love this product. It smoothens and strengthens my hair and does not leave it greasy as other products do that reduce frizz and improve damaged hair. Its citrusy scent is amazing. A little product goes a long way. I love that I can take it on the go. I travel often and its size (3.4 fl OZ) can travel with me.

I received this product free for my review. I definitely recommend this leave in balm. I like the fact that you can leave it in your hair and don't have to wash it out. It makes my hair feel silky and tangle free. It's not greasy at all and smells wonderful. I use this product after I wash it and it prevents my hair from frizzing.

This is the first product I apply to my hair after washing it. I then follow with a detangler. This balm leaves my hair super shiny. It is lightweight, which is perfect for my thin, fine hair. I think the product scent could be improved, not that it smells bad, it is just a very common hair product scent. I would recommend this product to friends and family. My hair feels great after using it but it also felt a bit thin too. Don't leave it on too long if you want good results.

This kept my flyaways down, detangled and softened my hair and made it feel good. After several uses it did seem to build up and it made my highlights look dull.

The cream is thick and has a faint scent to me, but it also smells a bit like dye and when used, it feels a bit sticky on the hair.

This hair mask worked really well for my fine, oily hair. Usually hair masks weigh down my thin hair but this mask was weightless and made my hair super smooth and shiny. I just wish there was no fragrance in it since I'm sensitive to fragrances. Otherwise, this is a great weightless mask

I really like using this balm 2x a week. I love the gel-like consistency of the product and it covered my very thick hair nicely. I felt that my hair was stronger and it wasn't greasy like so many other products. I think this will be a great addition to my hair routine!

I enjoyed this product as it made my hair feeling healthy. I did however feel like leaving it in left my hair feeling a bit greasy.

Received complimentary in exchange for an honest review This has a delightful floral smell that is not overpowering and leaves your hair smelling great. I'd have liked to try it for at least 2 months to really assess results but I only had about 3-4 weeks. It smoothes the hair and does feel moisturizing without feeling oily or greasy in any way. I have very dry hair and I think it helps split ends and I prefer this to the revival mask of the same brand. Overall a B+!

Instacure build a bond super sealing leave in balm works great. I used this with Instacure build a bond instant revival liquid mask and I've noticed a huge difference with my damaged hair after about four uses. My hair was less frizzy, more shiny and just overall more healthier. Very easy instructions. Awesome product.

I liked this product more than the liquid mask version. I like feeling the product in my hair and this one did make my hair soft and I felt it made my hair more shiny and show less breakage. I could make the amount given in the tub go for about half a year before I need to replace it. Price is not bad at all and is a great alternative for the higher priced bonding products.

I received both the Instacure Build-A-Bond Super Sealing Leave-In Balm and the matching Instacure Build-A-Bond Instant Revival Liquid Mask by Matrix, and I was satisfied with both products. I used them together, so while I can't speak for each product individually, as a duo, these products do precisely what they claim, while still being lightweight enough to not weigh my down or leave it feeling greasy. It left my hair feeling very soft, conditioned, smooth, and frizz free. For some insight, my hair is long, straight but with a slight curl at the root only, somewhat fine in density but with thick, coarse strands that retain far too much water after washing it, - it takes me 2 hours to blow dry, even after air drying - and I live in an extremely humid part of the US (south Louisiana). Since my hair is fine in density (meaning the number of actual strands is lower), I have to worry about products weighing it down, but I found that these not only didn't weigh it down, but also seemed to smooth the coarseness of the strands. I wouldn't typically use both a mask and a leave in product in the same wash session, but I found that using these products together provided the best results. The leave in balm was thinner in consistency than expected, so I did have to use slightly more than usual to distribute throughout my hair; however, it was not an exorbitant amount. I didn't notice any type of smell that I can recall, which is my preference as I don't like to use highly fragranced products on my hair or skin. I wouldn't go so far as to say this is my new favorite leave in product, but it does as claimed, it leaves my hair looking and feeling better, and it does make my hair feel healthier. I will continue to use this product, and I would recommend it to others who are looking for a conditioning, bond repairing product that doesn't weigh your hair down.

Matrix and Bzz Agent gifted me Matrix's Instacure Build-A-Bond Super Sealing Leave-in Balm to try in exchange for my honest review, but all thoughts on the product are my own. While I've used Matrix's Sleek product line previously I had never used their Instacure line, but was excited to try it since it's focused on repairing damaged hair. My 2a wavy hair has moderate damage from hair dye, previous bleach usage, and flat iron usage so I often use a leave in conditioner after shampooing & conditioning my hair to help soften it. The leave in conditioners I used prior to this were all either spray in or cream/lotion leave in conditioners, so I was intrigued and anxious to try this since it's a balm. After washing & towel drying my hair I removed the jar's lid and I immediately smelled a grapefruit/citrus scent that I really liked. Then I removed a dime sized dollop of the balm, and evenly distributed the thick gel like cream throughout the midlength to ends of my hair. After applying it to my hair my hands were not sticky at all, like they are after applying some leave in conditioners. I let my hair air dry and I did not notice any difference in fizziness, softness, etc, but I realize it may take more than once use to do anything. I've now been using the product for 3+ weeks, & I've been sure to use it every time after I wash my hair and I still do not see where it's made any difference to my hair. When I've blow dried and flat ironed my hair after using it, my flyaways are still very visable, and when I've let it air dry my hair is still very frizzy and my hair is not any softer. While the leave in conditioner has a lovely scent and I like its gel like texture, I do not see any benefits of using this product and therefore cannot recommend it to others.

This was wonderful! I like that you can leave it in and it will do repair work. It's not heavy at all. My hair felt great. Very light scent. I like that you can leave this in and it will do the work without you having to do anything extra. I absolutely hate split ends and having something that I can use that will help with that, is a lifesaver.

I love this product, I love how it doesn't weight on my hair at night like some products tend to do. It smells amazing! See a huge difference in the hair. However this with the liquid mask go hand in hand and have literally worked magic on my hair. My hair has never not had friz, the shine is incredible!!! Such an amazing product will buy again'

This leave-in balm is amazing! I have fine hair and this lightweight formula smooth and tamed my hair to give me a nice sleek look without making it greasy or weighed down. It's easy to use, has a pleasant smell that is not overbearing, and was an exceptional finishing touch to smooth sleek hair. it lasted all day. And is absolutely a go to for me now.

I have color treated dry hair. This does seem to make my hair feel softer and smoother. As far as damage goes i can't tell if it helps with that yet. I don't see a ton of difference yet but I will keep using.

I'm not a fan of leave in hair products. I love the Matrix Instacure Build-A-Bond Liquid Mask, so I decided to give this a try too. I received these products at not cost for my honest review. I am thankful for the opportunity that I was given, because I would not have bought a leave in product on my own. This Mattix Instacure Build-A-Bond Super Sealing Leave in Balm left my hair feeling soft, and looking amazingly healthy. Unlike other products that made me feel greasy, I couldn't even tell I had product in my hair. The real test came when my husband ran his fingers through my hair and didn't havw residue left on his hands. I am truly impressed with this line by Matrix's!

I apply this Balm after the shower when my hair is damp. It keeps my hair super soft, helps control and reduce breakage and the smell is amazing. My hair is always frizzy after trying this product it has last me throughout the day to control the frizzy leaving my hair long and silky smooth . I would highly recommend.
