A Curl Can Dream Light Hold Gel

This is a nice product and smells sooo amazing! It doesn't leave my curls crispy and it isn't a heavy product on my hair.

My son has super thick, coarse, curly hair. Without product by mid day it's fluffy and just a mess. Using this as step one has helped tremendously and his curls last looking beautiful all day long.

My hair is very long past my mid back and it's fine/medium strand thickness so lots of gel formulas are way too heavy. This gel is light weight yet strong and flexible. I only need a little bit to achieve the hold I want for my curls. No flaking or irritation.

I liked the curl pattern the gel gave my hair. It was a bit sticky and hard to run my fingers through once dry. Worked well rejuvenating 2 day curls.

The Matrix A Curl Can Dream Gel has great hold until I sweat. That's when the problem comes in. My hair will be super cute then BAM! Here comes the sweat then the frizz. It's a great product if you're sure there will be no sweating involved in your activities

I find that gel often leaves my curls too crunchy and even though I "scrunch the crunch out" I feel like they leave my hair dry and have residue. This gel is light and along with the curl cream left my hair feeling soft and frizz free.

Now I tried this product after I tried the curl in the can. Its thicker then the leave curl in a can. After I wash my hair I used this product like a gel to harden my hair. It's okay if I had natural curly or coiled hair. When it dries it stiff but not like hair gel

It's an okay gel. It doesn't have a good hold for me. I prefer gels that have a maximum hold to keep my curls and coils pop and last longer. I will give it another try. It does it's job if you prefer lightweight hold.

I love everything about this product, it has been a while since I really felt good about wearing my real hair because it gets puffy but this product helps it maintain the look I have been looking for.

I have locs in my hair and after washing my locs, I used the dream gel to style my hair. I didn't get quite the hold I wanted, but I loved the consistency amd smell of the gel. I really appreciated that the gel left my locs moisturized and shiny. This is the type of gel I would use 2-3 times ro keep my hair full of moisture and lively. I appreciate that the gel is in a pump, making it easy to apply. I believe this is a better product for coils amd curls, but I was able to get the moisturizing benefits from it.

Although it's a Lightweight gel, it works well. Hair appeared to have less frizz, fly away strands. The scent was subtle enough to layer With the other curly hair products.

I love the smell, that was the first thing I noticed and was pleasantly surprised by how nice it smells. It's definitely a lighter hold so idk if it would be great for all over my head (I have 4c hair) but it smoothed down the top of my hair nicely for the updos I tried.

I used this for my 3 and 4 day twist out keeps my hair super light defines my curls leaves them shiny with no flakes

It's more on the light weight side. My daughter wears everyday in the morning and it doesn't make her hair crunchy or flaky

I love this gel! It's so lightweight and doesn't leave a sticky or itchy residue behind. Easy to work through hair. The best part is when I'm in a hurry and don't have time to wash my hair, I just wet the ends of my hair and apply all over the hair and it curls really really well as if I've just taken a shower and applied it! It's amazing literally.

I love how it keeps my kids hair hydrated. I don't have to go back and moisturize it over again to give the hair life.

I would recommend this for anyone with curly hair, it works wonders, rather you have naturally curly hair or not.

Matrix, via BzzAgent, gave me this A Curl Can Dream Gel for free so that I could review it. It's very silky & applies to hair easily, even after already having applied the curl cream. I'm not sure of the hold, as I didn't get a good cast - but that could be me, as I haven't got a good cast from most gels lately - I get impatient & don't fully dry. But it still looked good the next day & the rest of the week, spraying some water & occasionally adding some more gel to tame the next day hair. Probably my best week of curls! 😆 Now, when I tried to apply some gel today, the pump would not work. Not sure what happened, but hopefully I can get it fixed. I'd like to try just the gel 1 day too, see what kind of hold it actually has! 1st pic shows what was left of the cream after 1st use 2nd pic is after just applying the cream & A Curl Can Dream gel 3rd pics is fully dry, next day, with a little water to refresh 4-6 pics are a new wash day, just the cream (no gel), partially air dried & the last pic in collage is day 3 (cream only) with a little water to refresh. In the other pic, I had added a little gel (unscrewing top to get) for a little more definition & it seemed to work very well! Looking forward to using it more/figuring out the best combinations for my hair!

Together with the Curl Cream this has a light to medium hold depending on how much product you use. The combination of the two products works great for wash and go's.

After washing my hair and when it was almost dry, I applied the gel and my hair was very soft and manageable all day. I like that it doesn't have a strong smell, although you can smell a bit of honey and I really like that. I like its packaging and I think that 6 ounces is more than enough to last at least 3 months, but of course that depends on how often it is used.

I have mix feelings about it it didn't hold my hair for long but I like the smell just wish it would hold it for Longer time

This product holds my sons hair. Well it's a very lightweight gel that does what he needs to do. My son has thick big curls and it does the job.

This product was given to me free to review. I love this product I have very curly dry hair and once I added this product to my curls it gave what it needed to give to my hair. The moisture is amazing lasts all day. As a curl activator this product works pretty well.

This gel is way too light for my coily, medium density hair. I paired it with the A curl can dream hair cream and it left my hair with a film. This product is not for me.

While this is not a terrible product, I don't find anything about this product that I couldn't get from other products that I have tried and used before. I trust the brand but don't see myself buying this product when what I already use works just as well for less money.
