Loved the product been buying matrix for 3 years

But recently I just found out they’re not cruelty free super upsetting so will no longer be my favorite hair brand at this point might as well use Dove shampoo and conditioner at least they’re cruelty free. Just disgusted on how animal testing is still a thing and they’re involved.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Nice if you don’t want toning

This is a nice option for blonde upkeep for those that have blonde hair but don’t want the staining in their shower that most shampoos for blondes can cause. I like the formula, i have no complaints about dryness after use however I wish this did have the blue/ purple tint since my hair has a tendency to turn brassy off I don’t tone it.

It’s my go to if I can’t not get my pureology

Mixed feelings - love pureology but this is my go to when things get a little tight - my hair super frizz on this shampoo- I do see the color difference in my platinum but the fizzy drives me nuts !!! But it is what it is I guess - It’s not bad stuff my hair hates most shampoos pureology and Matrix are only products my hair likes lol -

I have blonde high lights and ombré light ends. This lighten up all of my hair. I didn’t see any change to my damaged parts. It didn’t effect my curls. I do recommend it.

My hair feels super clean, without feeling strippe

I love how clean this shampoo makes my hair feel, without leaving both my hair and my scalp feeling dry and stripped. It gets it so clean it squeaks, without hurting my vividly colored hair. Most people think I just had my hair done, even when it's been weeks. This shampoo is fantastic!

Compared to other professional grade blonde enhancing shampoos, this one is just okay. It does lather pretty well, but I didn’t see any difference in my color. My hair texture is 2a and this trio wasn’t meant for me.

I was actually surprised at first just from smelling the product from the container I wasn’t impressed. I was almost sure I wasn’t going to like it and that it was just going to dry my hair out. But actually this has rehydrated my hair beyond belief. I had been struggling with dry brittle hair but this line gave my hair a nice revitalization. Thank you for the voxbox!

Good product, weird smell

Really didn't like the scent BUT the shampoo made my hair feel super clean and strong. I appreciated that the packaging was mostly made from recycled materials. I was a little concerned with the sunburn warning, it wasn't really clear if I would be okay with just putting sunscreen on my face or if my scalp would be sensitive after using this too. I guess skin is skin, I haven't had bad reactions using it as of yet.

Amazing Shampoo for Blondes

I have used the matrix biolage smooth therapy shampoo and conditioner with camellia serum regularly and absolutely love it. But this matrix unbreak my blonde shampoo is a game changer for blondes who love to keep their cool tones. It isn't a purple shampoo but gives the same effect. The packaging is purple so it is super cute and meaningful since the purpose is to restore, repair, revive and make blonde hair unbrassy again. The scent has a citrus sweet smell to it. The consistency is thick and makes it to where you only need a small amount. It is sulfate free which is what you want when you are blonde. The shampoo along with the conditioner and leave in treatment make your hair super soft, unbrassy, easier to style, doesn't tangle up and repairs your breakage if you have any. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a strengthening blonde shampoo and I recommend the conditioner with it!

This is a decent shampoo it lathers up nice and definitely cleans your hair nicely the smell is ok and the shampoo isn’t harsh on color treated hair so if your hair is fragile this is good for your hair especially if you heat style your hair everyday. It’s a good shampoo so definitely give it a try.

Okay so I don’t have blonde hair BUT I do have a real human hair bleached blonde wig. I bought it a while ago and it’s original color was yellow. But I used wella toners to get like a silver blonde color. But it damaged my wigs hair. When I used these products the hairs texture was so soft and it felt like the softness of when I first bought the wig came back. I honestly recommend if your hair is damaged from bleach

I honestly did not notice a difference at all but this conditioner. I have a very fine wavy hair, that's been colored, I am and baby lights. baby lights. My hair is prone to breakage. I was hoping I've noticed my hair being a little stronger but I did not notice a difference at all

I like the smell of the product and the way it lathers. But, I’m really not seeing a difference in my hair. My hair isn’t really damaged to begin with, so maybe for someone with really damaged hair it would make a difference but it doesn’t seem to do much for me.

I’ve been using this shampoo and conditioner combo 3 times weekly to keep my silver/blonde highlights looking fresh and I really feel that this makes a difference and stops my hair from looking dry and damaged.

I love this line, it is great for blonde hair, it makes it very silky and smooth. My blonde hair feels nourished and soft, the shampoo has a good texture. The only thing that surprised me was that I expected this line to have a purple shampoo and/or conditioner to break the brassiness of blonde hair, but none of these products are purple, nor do they do that.

This is a good smelling shampoo that cleansed and nourished my hair but left me wanting a little more! It smelled good while washing but the scent quickly faded and did not last after my hair dried. My hair felt clean and soft but nothing out of this world. I do really like the slim tall packaging!

This was my first time trying Matrix and I’m really impressed. The shampoo has a great lather and subtle scent, and left my hair feeling so good and clean. One of the main things I look for in haircare products is hydration and using this trio I was happy with the results in that area. I didn’t notice much of a difference in preserving or lifting my blonde color but loved how my hair felt after using this.

When I first saw the name of this product, I assumed it would be a toning shampoo (aka a purple or blue shampoo). That is not the case. Instead, the shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in treatment work together to revive hair that has been damaged by bleach. I have thin, hair and struggle with volume, so I was nervous that these products would weigh my hair down. I was pleasantly surprised that my hair looks as voluminous as any other non-volumizing shampoo. These products have actually become my go-to shampoo for wash days that I don't use my purple toning shampoo. I think these products would be great for anyone with color treated hair (blonde or not).
