I asked my hair dresser for something that would help calm my color-treated frizzies. This is the bomb. My hair is like silk after washing and drying (I also use the conditioner and the leave-in solution). I read the other reviews from a year ago, and wonder if Matrix revamped the formula.

I have LOVED the Solutionist So Bright and my hair salon Promised the total results was the same... IT IS NOTHING LIKE SO BRIGHT!!! I'm so disappointed, my hair feels like Straw after shampooing. I get Frizz and I just hate this shampoo!

Excellent for Colored Hair

The MATRIX Color Obsessed series is designed for colored hair. It does an excellent job of retaining and protectoing color in hair. It is priced very reasonable and sometimes you can find it on sale with store promotions. It is available in 2 sizes. I recommend purchasing the pump if you use the larger size. The larger size lasts approximately 3 months with daily use. The shampoo foams great. It is a milky white color. I have thick, long hair, and two pumps are sufficient to create a great lather for me. It has a great, clean smell but is not overpowering. The scent does not linger long. I have been using this product as a recommendation from my hairdresser. They also use this in the salon that has 8 hairdressers.

I'm a blonde, so it's very important for me to keep my color looking fresh and even. This shampoo does exactly that – I'm 100% satisfied! It's effective, has a lovely scent, and the price-to-quality ratio is just perfect. Highly recommend!

Name feels like a deception

Ive used this for awhile, and although it is “color obsessed” it’s not sulfate free? So im just confused in how this is deemed color safe. But the color me vivid shampoo seems to be sulfate free?? Misleading.

These products can be used without any fear of skin or scalp irritation as the contact with the skin is very short. Sulphates are ingredients synthesized in the laboratory from fatty alcohol and ours come from a vegetable origin. Sulphates are used at an appropriate concentration to ensure the efficiency of our products without any compromise on skin or scalp tolerance. Additionally, we offer products that do not contain any sulfates.
Sulphates are ingredients that create the foaming effect of shampoos and shower gels for example and that help rid the skin and hair of soiling. To identify them in our products, look at the ingredients list on packaging. They can be found under names such as SODIUM LAURYL SULFATE (SLS), SODIUM LAURETH SULFATE (SLES), AMMONIUM LAURYL SULFATE.

Good for colored hair

I liked it a lot, however it turned out that I am allergic to its perfume (although the smell is great) :( could you please let me know what kind of perfume is used there so that I could avoid the same products?
