The new formula works for me.

I actually LOVE the new formula. The old one dried my hair out, and I hated that old rose scent! That scent was popular in the 60’s and 70’s. The new formula had a modern scent and really conditions my over-processed white blond hair. Just my opinion and experience.

New formula is terrible

Please, please, please bring back the old formula! I have used So Silver for about 10 years and was very happy I had found something that would make my white/silver hair sparkle. I've even recommended it to many family members and friends. Now I'm struggling with rinsing this conditioner out and worry about it staining my hair. Please go back to the old formula. If it ain't broke don't fix it!

I didn't;t really want to make a comment, I just wanted the company to know how much I HATE the smell of the new conditioner formula. It smells like fruit punch. The prior version smelled great- a pleasure to put on my head. I don't even want to use this any more- I find the smell so nauseating . AND it is so difficult to get hat slimy feeling out of my hair. Shame. I've been using your product for years....hum.

poor choice unless you have very brassy hair

I used So Silver conditioner for years and got compliments on my hair almost every day. Unfortunately, I was giving So Silver conditioner the credit, as I have now used the new formula and I am very unhappy with the results. The new formula does leave my hair with the shine it had with the old formula, and the subtle color change is not attractive. I will not be using or recommending So Silver again. Your company should have noted on your products that the formula has been changed. Please let us know if you bring back the old formula

New formula turned me purple.

Ive been using so silver for many years now, never had a problem, always getting compliments. Now, since the new formula, my hair looks awful. Im embarrassed of my hair. I had to stop using the so silver, and buy a different shampoo and conditioner. I now have to giant bottles of shampoo and conditioner I can not use. My hair is purple after 1 use. I loved the way it used to make my gray hair feel, so soft and normal, now, I wear it up and hope no one notices the purple. Either bring back the old formula, or offer the old formula as a so silver light, so the option is there for heavy or light tinting. I have even tried to use clarifying shampoo, and it won't come out. This is awful, I won't use or buy again.

Hydrating, silver brightening, yellow eliminator

I am so relieved to have found this line of So Silver! I had to stop coloring 20+ years ago, trust me I have tried so many formulas. For my gray, and age (60+) So Silver has been a game changer. It has cut down on frizz and drying, controls the yellowing w/natural graying. I can use it every, however I do switch up w/a thinning product as well. Guess what my sisters are getting for Christmas! It's been an expensive road to here, but I can now relax on "this" leg of my journey! Thanks Matrix!

Horrible…go back to old formula I love

The new formula is horrible! I loved the way it use to smell. It’s now too thick and the smell is not nice. Please bring back the old formula. $20 a bottle for this is just a rip off. I can’t rinse this out of my hair!!!

Very disappointed

The old formula was lighter violet color. The new formula is darker, thicker, hard to wash out and stains my towels. Very very disappointed especially since I bought a bigger bottle this time.

Complete Disaster - no labeling ‘reformulated’?

I am a silver hair (and bearded) male that has used the Shampoo and Conditioner for years and received compliments by random strangers on how they love my silver color. I couldn’t find the 10 oz bottle so I picked up the 33.8 oz. I had no idea they changed the formulation. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! What were you thinking?
