How To Use
- After using Brass Off shampoo, wearing suitable gloves, apply to wet hair and comb through for even distribution.
- Avoid scalp area and leave on for 5-10 minutes depending on desired neutralization. 5 minutes for subtle neutralization, 10 minutes for maximum neutralization.
- Rinse out.

This product is amazing I have blonde hair and this neutralised my yellow.
It also gave me clean blonde.
My only concern is it's quite thick, therefore quite heavy, for my thin hair
But being a mask it will be used once a week.
Defiantly recommend for any lightened hair.

Don’t Waste Your Money

MynMatrix Brass Off Mask just arrived today. I applied and combed through set timer for 10min and it did absolutely nothing. Very disappointing. Along with the brass off mask I also have been using the blue shampoo and conditioner and again it does absolutely nothing for my hair. Still brassy, not even a little better.

Does the trick.

The way I did it, was out the shower, towel dried hair, applied with color brush, then spread with hands and combed through, and rinsed with cold water. Does it last, I do it every 2 weeks, or when I have an outing. However, I do not use the shampoo line. Just the mask.

Why does this say only for brunettes now? Not smar

Why does this say for brunettes? It didn’t say that in the past. It’s very misleading. I’m a blonde and I’ve been trying to find the older version that didn’t say brunettes on EBay. Whose bright idea was that? It makes people think they can’t use it unless they are brunette. I ordered one bottle and sent it back to the store because I thought they sent me the wrong thing. It leads people to believe there is one for blondes and another for brunettes.

Useless

Well that was a fun waste of time, money, and water. Distant absolutely nothing it promised to do. Followed the directions even tried it twice to see if maybe it was user error cause let’s be honest it’s usually user error….nope. The product is useless. I would’ve settled for a subtle change but no change after spending $30 w/tax is very disappointing.

My last try of a 'blue' hair product...ONE use and I was blown away! With the caramel/orange ish color and my whitish gray I was feeling like a caramel creme. Now I'm more of a dark blonde and gray. This is going to make going total gray sooooo much easier and bearable! Thanks, Matrix!

Great for toning brunettes with highlights!

This is all you need is you are a brunette or a brunette with highlights or balayage! Purple shampoos didn’t do anything for the brown parts of my hair but this mask took the brass out of my brunette and blonde pieces! This mask is amazing! I left it on for 8 mins and my hair was incredibly soft, shiny and is now brass free. I never want to be without this mask.....

Left Hair Grey/Purple

I received this as a free product from Top Box and was super excited to try it. I recently had my hair dyed and the roots were a lot more orange than I had hoped. I think I may have used this product way too soon because it left my blonde hair grey and left a lot of purple/blue colour in there. I will definitely try it again and see if it works better on my roots. I will leave it on for 3 mins instead of the recommended 5-10

Must Have Neutralization Hair Mask!

I received a full sized product of the Matrix Brass Off neutralization hair mask free as part of the Topbox Circle program. I’ve used this mask a few times already and it’s an excellent product made with high quality ingredients. I use the Matrix purple shampoo then the neutralization mask and conditioner. If you follow the directions, it works perfectly. I noticed a dramatic difference after the first use. It left my hair looking softer and toned. I really felt it removed the harsh brassy tones. All the products smell great. They’re also wonderful for those with sensitive skin or scalp. No adverse reactions. The Products were very easy to use and they work! I will purchase this product and recommend it to family and friends!

Smells great and it's super blue

I just bought this because I noticed my hair getting a little brassy and I was to last to tone it. Let the last sit for 3-4 mins (because my hair is super absorbent) it smells great and it didn't stain my tub. I noticed it did helped with the brassyness in the lighter portions if my hair but the slightly darker blonde parts had no change it wasnt what i expected but maybe my expectations are to high.
