Use once weekly (or as needed) to deep cleanse curly and coily hair. Apply desired amount of product at the scalp and work throughout lengths and ends. Rinse. Follow up with Rich Mask, Moisturizing Cream, Light Hold Gel, and Light-weight Oil.

Great shampoo for curly hair

After just I've use i could see the difference in my curls. Everything was less frizzy and the curls are more defined. I have already recommended this to my curly haired sister.

Relaxed my Curly Hair

I used three A Curl Can Dream products including the shampoo, moisturizing cream, and gel, and it has completely ruined my original curl pattern. I used these three products ONCE and five days later my hair still has a filmy feel to it. I have a curl type around 3A, and after using these products my curls have stayed droopy and have lost their bounce/retention. Originally, I thought it was because I styled my hair differently with my regular products, but no amount of deep cleanse & normal styling has allowed my curls to return to their original state. The curls seem to have been relaxed, yet with increased frizz. I don't think many people have had this issue, but I would rather put this out in case anyone else has had similar reactions.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this product line

A few years ago, my hairdresser introduced me to this series to revive my curls! What a difference! I use the shampoo, cowash, mask, leave in conditioner, and gel. I get compliments on how great my hair smells and how fresh my hair looks all the time. I am a forever fan of the A Curl Can Dream line of products.

Please bring back Curl Please

I have used Curl Please since it first came out. This shampoo does not measure up. I bought this shampoo thinking it was a new and improved Curl Please. When I got it home, I was amazed that it said to use it once a week. I live in the south and have to wash my hair every day. Since I had purchased it, I tried it but it just dried my hair out. Please bring back the original Curl Please. It's so much better. Meanwhile, you've lost a long time customer.

Please bring back curl please shampoo

I was a longtime customer using curl please shampoo which I absolutley loved. When you changed the formula to a curl can dream I was so disappointed as when I started using it, it made my hair really dry. Please bring back the old formula. I have tried many curly shampoos and nothing as good as curl please shampoo. Please bring the old formula back.

Expected a lot better results for the price

Switched from dove, thought perhaps I would have less fallout but this product has actually made it twice as bad as it was with dove, I can't even run my fingers through my hair without ending up with a handful of fallout. Been using it for 3 months now, only about half way through the bottles but will not be a return customer. At $19/per bottle, you guys can keep your chemicals, it does smell very nice but other than that, the only change in my hair I saw was an increase in hair fallout.

Bring back the old formula!

I have used matrix products for over 30 years and loved loved loved it. I absolutely swore by curl please for curly hair and loved it’s smell. I am halfway thru my second bottle of the new formula and I absolutely hate it. It strips your hair like nothing else and then I feel compelled to put a ton of the conditioner thru to get some moisture back into. The other issue for me with it is after I have washed the conditioner out my shower floor becomes lethal as does it the next time I shower in it, I never had this issue before. I never write reviews but am doing so in the hopes you will bring back the old formula or at least have it as an option to purchase as well. Why try an improve on something that was perfect as it was. Please bring back old formula

It lathers up so easy I used it with the conditioner and my hair is so soft now. No frizzes at all it shines. It's just my my hair look healthy again. All of my family and friends. What have you done to your hair? It looks so good.

I have tried this in my hair a few times and can I say my hair is so soft and bouncy and curly afterwards. I absolutely love the way it smells and keeps my hair from frizzing all day. I would absolutely recommend it to everyone to try! I received this as a sample to try for an honest review and will definitely be trying out the rest of their line of products!

I used this product to deep clean my hair once a week. It lathers very well and a little goes a long way! I used about a quarter sized amount to wash my hair. I'm not a huge fan of shampoos due to how dry they make my hair feel but this one does help remove the knots! I also get so many compliments on how good my hair smells!

I have curly hair and used the Matrix a Curl can Dream Shampoo. I liked the scent and the shampoo went on really nicely and lathered. My hair felt clean and it shampooed really well. After my hair dry it felt nourished and smelled nice.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this product but I'm in love. I received this product for free from Matrix and I definitely will be purchasing again. The smell of the shampoo is very pleasant and I love how sudsy it is and how clean my hair feels after. Loved this so much that I used it on my daughter as well!

I love this shampoo as someone who only washes weekly, but can see why those who shampoo more often may think it's too intense. It's clarifying but also moisturizing and doesn't cause tangling as I'm washing, which who knew was a thing?!

I really like this shampoo. It has a very nice floral/honey scent and the formula leaves my hair soft but still light. It has a really nice, velvety lather. I tried it by itself with a single wash and found that it cleans my hair/scalp quite well. I exercise every day and use styling products so extra cleansing makes sense for me so that the next time I used this shampoo, I used a scalp scrub first then the shampoo and the results were even better. My curls (3B) have felt bouncy and super clean from using this.

When I shampooed my hair, I could instantly feel a difference, and the smell is wonderful, after I dried my hair, it was smooth and frizz free, and the smell stayed all day! My curls were so bouncy and soft.

I absolutely enjoyed this product! A little goes a long with this product, it has a nice lather to it. I didn't feel that dry stripping feeling that you normal feel with clarifying shampoo's, it was very moisturizing and definitely defined my curls after first use.

I usually stick to my usual shampoo and don't try new ones often but this shampoo made my hair sooo happy. My scalp felt great with noticeably less dandruff and my curls have come back to life!! I'll definitely be repurchasing.

The Matrix A Curl Can Dream clarifying shampoo was exactly what I've been searching for in a clarifying shampoo. It leaves my hair squeaky clean but doesn't dry out my curls. After using other clarifying shampoos, my curls are left knotted but not this one which was a nice surprise. It also smells great so I'm excited to continue incorporating in my hair routine.

I have use this product three times now. It is a weekly conditioner. The very first thing that you'll notice about this product is the smell it smells like roses!! But the second thing you'll notice is the softness and cleanliness of your hair before you apply conditioner, it really isn't needed

I honestly didn't have very high hopes for this shampoo- I've tried so many different kinds that haven't blown me away. But this formula made me reach twice! Firstly, you can smell the honey in the shampoo. It smells like its fresh from the hive. The shampoo lathers SO nicely, with a little going a long way. It gives a good long rich lather time, and feels so luxurious that you dont want to rinse it out.
It rinses out clean without leaving hair dry and brittle like so many shampoos do. Rarely do you find a shampoo that doesn't require a conditioner to get a brush through it! Anyway, it rinses clean and left my hair feeling clean but still very hydrated and moisturized. I followed this up with the curl moisturizer crème and am even more impressed with that!
I have 2c-3a fine hair, and this shampoo was not too heavy for me. As i said, it lathers very richly and would work well for thicker hair types.

Soft and shiny curls

I tried the matrix, a curl can dream shampoo, it is designed to be used once a week and it has the most incredible smell. It contains my nucha honey extract, and I am not sure what the perfume is, but it makes my hair smell amazing. It left my hair very clean. I think it helped remove some of the buildup of other products. My hair is a little fine so I didn't have to use a whole lot of product and it definitely gave my curls some more definition and made my hair so pretty and bouncy.

I really like this product. I feel that it gets my hair really clean but also without over drying it. It has a very nice smell that sticks around. During the washing process I notice that it doesn't make my hair feel stringy and stripped. It feels light and refreshing.

What I like most about this is how clean it makes my hair feel. It gives you a salon fresh wash at home and when you pair it with the curl cream to style baby you good to go. And it doesnt take a lot great lather and smells good.
